My colleague P is co-hosting a baby shower for her daughter in a few weeks and is in charge of the food. She loves trying new recipes and frequently brings samples for the office staff’s opinions. Today we taste-tested this batch of cupcakes. They were great, reminding me of moist and delicious little spice cakes. Only when we were done did P reveal the (very appropriate) secret ingredient: three varieties of baby food!
