This morning I was having coffee with my sister at her house when my young nephew M popped into the room to say hello. In the middle of our conversation, M stopped speaking and, without warning, ran out of the room, calling back over his shoulder:
You have to see my new shoes. They’re AWESOME!
I don’t remember when I’ve seen him this animated about footwear. I have to admit though, that this pair looks pretty cool. The impressively rippled soles remind me of the treads on a Caterpillar tractor.
