Memorial Day is celebrated in many different ways. For the third year now, H and I have invited the family over for brunch (pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and fruit). Everyone is assigned something to bring; we assemble and cook at the house, and then spend a couple of hours enjoying each others’ company. This year’s gathering was another success.
P the cat, on the other hand, spent his Memorial Day simply contemplating sights and sounds of the world at large.
