128 / 365 Peggy Lee Deese Bateman Day

It’s hard to believe that seventeen years have passed since my mother died.  I can truthfully say that, in all those years, a day hasn't gone by that I haven’t thought of her.  She is always whispering in my ear… prompting me to be humble and kind… pointing out the beauty and joy that surrounds me (even when I can’t see it)… reminding me that I am loved.  She still holds my hand and kisses me on the cheek daily and I am eternally grateful.  Much love to you, Mom.

  1. Well said! She taught us love and patience, to dream really big, and appreciate the small things. She shaped who we are and she has my heart forever.Much Love MOM! And... Ellen-you made me cry-but I still love you!
